Monitoring movement

Surveys  Gwalia regularly undertake periodic precise monitoring of structures which may move or require statutory monitoring such as tunnels, reservoir dams, etc. e.g., Claerwen and Craig-Goch in the Elan Valley.

Buildings and civil structure monitoring can also be carried out using photogrammetry and laser scanning, combined with precise GPS positioning.
